Kirkham Board are experienced in acting as Employers Agent on behalf of a wide range of Clients.

The Employer’s Agent plays a key role in construction projects, acting as the representative of the Client to ensure the project is delivered according to the contract, budget, and schedule.

Kirkham Board’s responsibilities include overseeing the design and construction phases, managing communication between the employer and Contractor, and ensuring that the works are undertaken Clients’ required standards, for quality control and cost management.

We often handle contract administration, monitor progress, assess risks, and approve payments for completed work.

Essentially, Kirkham Board safeguard the Employer's interests by ensuring that the project runs smoothly and adheres to agreed-upon terms.

New Milton

We acted as Employers Agents on this fifty-apartment extra care scheme at Wooldridge View, New Milton.

The scheme was a redevelopment of a supported housing scheme and partly funded by Homes England and Hampshire County Council.

Construction involved part steel frame and hollow clay blocks.

SW Exeter

We acted as Employers Agents, Clerk of Works and CDM Advisors on 217 affordable homes at South West Exeter.

The scheme was procured as part of a series of development agreements.

Isles of Scilly

We acted as Employers Agents, Clerk of Works and CDM Advisors on a scheme of 27 affordable homes at Carn Thomas, St Marys, Isles of Scilly.

The scheme involves redevelopment of a former secondary school site.
